7 years old son just diagnosed with ADHD need web links to diet, alternative therapy?

My 7-year-old son was just today with generalized Anxiety disorder was diagnosed, and ADHD. The doctor asked that I take a few days to mull over the diagnosis, then go back to treatment to discuss with him. I have respect for our doctor, but I am concerned, I do not want to put my son on medication. I would much prefer alternative therapies, behavior management, Dietary changes look for something like that. Here are the things I'll try to reward the behavior at the map and mod-based system that rewards Focus on positive behavior and no dairy products gluten-free omega fish oil supplements as well as his daily vitamin yoga course he will come two nights a week with me Cut have processed / colored foods if you had success with an alternative therapy for your ADHD child, please let me know. I want all the options before To explore it on drugs. Thank you.

What to listen for a fresh breeze, a mother willing to take alternative measures and not on drugs dependent. Right now I have a friend who constantly look at the Docter to change their childs childs her medication drugs "fix it" knowing full well what are the triggers – but blatently refuse to read labels and make a life change … My younger brother has ADHD. That was 20 years ago, when nobody really knew what it was and chalked it up to bad parenting diagnosed. My mother bent over backwards to do everything we can to help him. Our number one was the food. It's amazing what Red and Yellow # 7 # 3, a child with ADHD (these are just examples that I do not remember, the actual # 's) to do So, out they went. We went to a bare bones diet. I'm talking about rice and noodles. Meat was gone was gone fruit. We diet, like this for about a month for older (hell is a Child who just did not understand (Me)) Then began slowly reintroduce food and took note of the reactions, if any. Since my brother has taken over and is currently taking medication for ADHD. He is a college grad and a contributing working / part of society. There are still things (with drugs) that cause him can – again, certain foods, dyes, etc – but he knows what they are and know how to deal with it. I would not be completely ruled out drugs – As long as you know, you or your child will not "fix" you dependent on them. If you have a good Docter (by the sounds of it you) between the three from you, you could have a very successul program.
